Breaking News: Luton Boss Edwards Reveals Shocking Truth, Fans Are Absolutely…
Rob Edwards, the manager of Luton Town, had all praise for the fans of his team this week.
There’s a chance the recently promoted team may return straight to the Championship.
Edwards thinks that their ability to survive the dip will depend heavily on the amazing support they receive both at home and abroad.
He said, “Today wasn’t going to derail us whatever happened,” following a defeat to Manchester City. Although I’m relieved that it’s over, the fans have been amazing the entire season.
“I don’t think any club can say they’ve done that genuinely home and away all season. It’s incredibly great to stand and support the team and me both at home and away.
It’s our first season in the Premier League, so I know it’s special for us and hopefully we can have more, but it gives me optimism that they’re saying, ‘Come on, we’re with you.’ It’s incredibly special, and I believe that’s what sets us apart in the current battle. That belief is also given to me by the staff and the players. We are certain that we can win the next five games.
“I’m not saying we’re going to win every one of them. We believe we can win enough games, and we are excited for our three upcoming home games at Kenilworth Road, which I believe will be challenging for any club to visit. We are up for the battle, and as we regain more bodies over the next several weeks, I believe we will become stronger.”
