After a disappointing 2024 campaign, eight players left Catalans Dragons at the end of the season.
Manu Ma’u, Matt Ikuvalu and Jarrod Wallace left the club at the expiration of their contracts with the club.
Meanwhile, ex-Hull KR man Jordan Abdull, Wakefield Trinity recruits Mike McMeeken and Tom Johnstone and Hull KR signings Micky McIlorum and Tom Davies have also left.

This is all on top of the sacked players mid-season – Jayden Nikorima, Sio Suia Taukeiaho and Damel Diakhate.
The season itself was a failure to repeat, and build on, the success of 2023, where they reached the Super League Grand Final and finished on 40 points, only missing out on the League Leaders’ Shield on points difference.
After some impressive recruitment for 2025, they’ll hope that they can amend that this season but they’ll also have to look at over a dozen expiring contracts. With that hanging over them, we’ve looked at the 13 players out of contract at the end of 2025.
The 13 players set to leave Catalans Dragons next year
Their new signing from the Dolphins, Tevita Pangai Jr was only signed on a one-year deal meaning he could be set to leave after just a sole campaign in Super League. The club are currently facing a pack exodus Tariq Sims, Paul Séguier, Bayley Sironen, Julien Bousquet and Chris Satae also have their contracts up.
Half-back Théo Fages will have a world-class half in Luke Keary alongside him, and the Frenchman will surely be hoping his performances warrant a further extension to his deal which is currently up at the end of the 2025 season.
Hooker Alrix Da Costa and three-quarter Tanguy Zenon could also exit the club at the expiration of their contracts.
Such is the number of Catalans’ expiring contracts that they could legitimately field a team of those without a deal beyond 2025 that would rival their strongest XIII for the upcoming campaign.
