Tottenham Hotspur defender Japhet Tanganga may decide not to return to Millwall this summer in order to consider all of his options. In his 18 Lions games toward the close of the previous year, the 25-year-old made an impression, bringing stability to the defense and scoring a few crucial goals.
It was widely anticipated that the player, who was on the outskirts at Spurs, would return to Millwall this summer. Though John Wenham, a Spurs expert, claims the two parties have agreed on a permanent transfer, Tanganga is reportedly taking his time to formalize the move.
“I think Tanganga will hold out on the move,” he said to Tottenham News.His agent will be making other clubs aware of the fee which has been agreed with Millwall to see if anyone else wants to match it.
Tanganga will be happy to hear that he has that choice there, but I expect this to take some time. I believe Millwall will also feel at ease. He performed admirably for them, and I have no doubt that they will allow him some time to reflect.”
