EXCLUSIVE: FA Drops Bombshell Cup Final Ticket Details for Reading FC
The ticket information for Reading’s Senior Cup final versus Marlow next week has been confirmed by Berks and Bucks FA.
After losing to Marlow in the previous season’s semifinal, Noel Hunt’s Under-21 team defeated Burnham and Flackwell Heath en way to their second final in three years. In their most recent meeting, Marlow defeated MK Dons Under-21s, reenacting the inaugural final from 1879.
With a victory over Leatherhead last weekend, Mark Bartley’s team have secured promotion out of the Isthmian League South Central Division. Now, they want to exact revenge for their season-ending loss from the previous year.
The game, which is scheduled to take place at the SBB Stadium, the home of Sandhurst Town and Bracknell Town, will begin on Wednesday, May 15, at 7:45 p.m. The price of the £10 adult ticket, £6 for those over 65, and £3 for children under 18 is only available at the gate and cannot be purchased in advance.
There is no cash for the final. The Royals might be in the PL2 play-off semifinals by the time this final is played.
Reading, who placed sixth in the highest Academy football division, defeated Middlesbrough in the round of 16, and they will play Nottingham Forest on Saturday (2 p.m. kickoff) with hopes of making it to the final four.
Over 800 spectators witnessed last week’s triumph at the SCL Stadium, where admission is free.
