Breaking: Tiaki Chan’s Shocking Hull FC Loan Update After Unexpected Wigan Warriors Reserves Appearance
Tiaki Chan is back at Wigan Warriors this week after a loan spell with Hull FC. The forward was picked up by the Sky Sports cameras during Wigan’s defeat to Warrington Wolves on Friday night, having not been selected in the Black and Whites’ 21-man squad to play Catalans Dragons this weekend.
Hull Live can now confirm that Chan has returned to his parent club to be available for selection for their reserve grade side, though the loan agreement has not officially ended. He was illegible to play against Wigan last week, whom he featured for three times earlier this year after signing from Catalans Dragons.
The 24-year-old forward has made five appearances on loan at Hull after debuting at London Broncos two months ago. He scored one try against Castleford Tigers.
The Black and Whites could do with having Chan available after the injury picked up by King Vuniyayawa. The Fijian hurt his ankle in the clash, with the club yet to determine the severity of the knock.
Ligi Sao also saw a red card for a hit on Sam Tomkins, with the RFL’s Match Review Panel set to review the incident on Monday. Sao has had a previous suspension earlier this year.
