Breaking: Star Player Shocks Fans with King’s Lynn Town Loan Extension
Following an initial month-long loan, defender Ross Barrows’ loan with fellow Vanarama National League North club King’s Lynn Town has been extended until the end of the season.
The loan now has a 24-hour recall period, should Scunthorpe decide to use it. The 25-year-old was one of the Iron’s summer signings last summer, and he’s appeared in 11 games for the club, five of which were starts.
Barrows, who was born in Sheffield, had previously been on the Iron’s roster, spending six years in the academy between the ages of nine and 15. During his time away from the club, he played for the Linnets, which he joined near the end of the 2018-19 season. He would join the squad that would be promoted to the Vanarama National League North.
The following season, he made 58 appearances for the club, scoring four goals, before moving to Altrincham for the 2022-23 season. So far in his first month with the Linnets, he has made five appearances, four of which were starts.
The loan prolongation makes him eligible to face Chorley tonight evening. We wish Ross all the best for the remainder of his loan period at the Walks.
