Breaking News: Newcastle United’s £20m Ace Back in Action – Manager’s Relief Revealed

With six Premier League games left for Newcastle United, Callum Wilson is back to full training.

The Magpies’ number nine hasn’t played since their 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest on February 10 due to a pectoral injury that necessitated surgery. Wilson has been sidelined for two months, but Sky Sports News cameras have captured him back in training with colleagues.

He was seen with players including Harvey Barnes and Alexander Isak. Eddie Howe’s team has one week to get ready for their Premier League away match against Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

Wilson has only started 11 games this season due to injury, but he has scored eight goals, which is a respectable return. Isak, a fellow striker, has scored 21 goals this season in all competitions, making history as the first player to do so since Alan Shearer.

This season, Howe has hardly ever had both strikers available at the same time. Wilson’s injury problems have received a lot of attention, but Isak has also missed ten games due to a groin problem.

Wilson plans to make a late push for a spot in Gareth Southgate’s England team for the Euros in Germany this summer.
