Breaking News: Luton Town Star Pours Out His Mind to Fans Amid Brentford Clash
Pelly Mpanzu, a midfielder for Luton Town, thinks that winning at home is essential to maintaining their Premier League status.
With just five games left in the season, the minnows need to win to avoid returning to the Championship.
Although the midfielder is aware that they are losing both time and points, he still thinks they can win enough games to barely across the finish line.
Mpanzu declared, “We have five cup finals scheduled.” I believe we can win every game we play, so hopefully we can do that and we’ll still be in the Premier League on May 19.
We are aware that we can exert our best effort and score points at home, where we are strong. Since Brentford hasn’t played too poorly, we know how important our home games are to us. Since nobody enjoys visiting Kenilworth Road, perhaps we can take advantage of this and win some points. Both at home and away, the supporters will be there for us, and hopefully they will bring the fire when we play Brentford.
“As a team, we’re performing better than anybody anticipated. The team has been performing admirably because everyone said they would be demoted by December or January, respectively, and here we are, five games remaining, still having a chance to survive.”
