Breaking News: Georgia Football Sensation Sacovie White’s Driving Arrest Exposes Startling Revelations
According to the Athens-Clarke County (Ga.) jail files, Georgia football player Sacovie White was taken into custody early on Saturday morning on suspicion of reckless driving and driving on a one-way street.
After being detained at 3:04 a.m. for approximately an hour, White was released on two $26 bonds.
The arresting officer’s report, which the Atlanta Journal-Constitution was able to get, stated that White was accused of speeding in the wrong direction while leaving a passenger hanging out of the car. At 2:06 a.m. on Saturday, the policeman stopped White in the heart of downtown Athens.
According to the report, White “showed complete disregard for the safety of his passengers, himself, and innocent civilians.” The Bulldogs rookie also presented a risk to the public, especially since the alleged incident occurred during “a time of high pedestrian traffic as people were leaving bars,” the report said.
The report also states that White cooperated with the police after being pulled over and was taken into custody without any problems. Football players for Georgia have been engaged in a number of driving-related mishaps; the most well-known of these was the collision on January 15, 2023, which claimed the lives of offensive lineman Devin Willock and recruiting staffer Chandler LeCroy.
