Breaking News: Gavin Gunning Reveals Shocking Reason for Sean McGurk’s Squad Exclusion
Gavin Gunning gave an explanation for why he did not include Sean McGurk in the starting lineup for Swindon Town’s previous two fixtures.
After scoring two goals in his first three games for the team, McGurk got off to a fast start at Swindon but has since found it difficult to reach the same heights.
The 21-year-old was left off the starting lineup against AFC Wimbledon and Walsall and hasn’t touched the field in any of Town’s last four games.
When Gunning was questioned about Harry McKirdy and McGurk’s absence from the team following the late loss at Poundland Bescot Stadium, he said that McGurk’s exclusion was “just tactical” and that McKirdy had been nursing a niggle.
