On Sunday, the reigning Rookie of the Year was spotted at Gainbridge Fieldhouse watching the Indiana Pacers host the New York Knicks in what turned out to be a 132-121 win for the home team. Unsurprisingly, the Pacers took the time to honor Clark’s presence in the game as she sat courtside beside her boyfriend Connor McCaffery, who used to be part of the Pacers coaching staff. During a dead ball situation, the Pacers showed Clark on the jumbotron, which produced some loud cheers from the home crowd.

During a dead ball situation, the Pacers showed Clark on the jumbotron, which produced some loud cheers from the home crowd. Apart from the fact that Clark was wearing an Off-White sweatshirt that retails for $469, the fans on social media noticed another interesting aspect about the Pacers’ homage to the Fever guard.
In case you missed it, the song that was blasting in the background as Clark was being introduced was “22” by Taylor Swift. It was the perfect song choice by Indiana because, among other things, Clark wears the No. 22 jersey for the Fever. “bruh the music is so suitable for the situation, CC22 is fire but seems to be camera shy when she’s not playing basketball ” a reaction on X read.

Clark is herself a major Swiftie. A testament to this fact is how she attended not one, but two of the “Eras Tour” concerts in Indianapolis on Nov. 1 and 2. She soaked in the full experience, too, even taking part in the customary friendship bracelet exchange with fellow Swift fans during the show.
The Pacers are well aware of Clark’s love for Taylor Swift, and it was the perfect theme song for the introduction of the Fever All-Stars during Sunday’s game.
