Draymond Green reacts to James Jones’ controversial claim about Kevin Durant’s wasted…
Draymond Green, the Golden State Warriors forward, has always had strong opinions, and with his own podcast, he now has a 24/7, 365 outlet to express them.
Green heard what Phoenix Suns general manager James Jones said about Kevin Durant during the team’s end-of-season availability on Wednesday. Jones was asked about a recent report from The Athletic about Durant not being satisfied with his role, and Jones went on to explain that he doesn’t believe Durant has ever been utilized by a club before. He wants the Suns to be first.
As you might expect, the teammate who witnessed Durant win two NBA Finals MVP titles would disagree with that.
Green thinks Jones was acting as a “true leader,” for which he is highly respected, and was attempting to shift some of the criticism away from Durant.
