When head coach Craig Berube was asked about this decision, he provided an intriguing response, emphasizing the limited roster spots available. “We have extra players. Not everyone can play every day. That’s the reality. He’s been fine when he’s played, but I have to make decisions that I believe are best for the team.”
As the team prepares for tonight’s matchup against the New York Rangers, reports suggest Pacioretty will likely be scratched again, which is disappointing news for fans hoping to see him succeed.
