GREAT NEWS: Penguins Lock in Corey Andonovski with Two-Year Mega Deal

The Pittsburgh Penguins continue to fill out their AHL lineup, agreeing to terms with free agent Corey Andonovski on a two-year contract valued at $775,000 if he skates in the NHL.

Since leaving Princeton University in 2021-22, the 25-year-old Uxbridge, ON native has been a mainstay with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

In three seasons in the minors, Andonovski has collected 49 points in 130 games, with 15 goals and 34 assists.

The undrafted right-winger played three seasons at Princeton University, missing out on the entirety of the 2020-21 season.

Before skating in the NCAA, he played at St. Andrew’s College, serving as an alternate captain in his final season.

According to his Elite Prospects profile, Andonovski’s season occurred at St. Andrews, with 74 points in 57 games in 2016-17, thanks to 32 goals and 42 assists.

Andonovski’s recent signing is just one of many offseason moves by Penguins management, including two-way deals with Bokondji Imama, Mac Hollowell, Nathan Clurman, and Jimmy Huntington.
