Done Deal: Confirmation From Footprint Center Office About Chandler’s Oso Ighodaro Joining Suns After 2024 Draft
Rookie forward Oso Ighodaro was selected 40 overall after the Suns traded with New York for the pick.
PHOENIX — It’s official. The newest member of the Phoenix Suns is from right here in the Valley.
According to the team, rookie forward Oso Ighodaro, from Chandler, signed with the team but the details of the deal were not released.
The Suns acquired the draft rights to Ighodaro, the 40 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, in a trade with the New York Knicks last week.
Ighodaro played four years at Marquette University, earning All-Big East Second Team honors in both 2022-23 and 2023-24
Ighodaro attended Desert Vista High School where he led the team to a state championship.
