Deal Confirmed: Nicholas Smith signs with Kentucky

The Kentucky Wildcats have picked up another football commitment, the latest being from defensive lineman Nicholas Smith.

Smith announced his pledge to the Wildcats on Friday via Twitter. His lead recruiter is defensive coordinator Brad White.

Smith, who plays for Walnut Grove High School in Georgia, is a bit of an under-the-radar prospect in recruiting circles. He currently does not have an evaluation at ESPN, Rivals, or On3.

However, 247 Sports has him graded as a 3-star prospect ranked 1,103rd nationally. 105th among defensive lineman, and 116th in the state of Georgia. He holds additional offers from Mississippi State, West Virginia, UCF, Georgia Tech, Cincinnati, Georgia Southern, and Western Kentucky.

Kentucky now has 10 high school commitments in the 2025 class. Check out some highlights of the newest Wildcat below.
