Breaking: Kentucky Basketball Shocks Fans with Major Chris Cenac Jr. Offer

A new offer is out in the class of 2025 for the Kentucky Wildcats.

On Tuesday, Chris Cenac Jr. announced an offer from the Cats.

Cenac is currently taking part in the NBPA Top 100 Camp, where Mark Pope and other Kentucky coaches have been scouting recruits.

Playing for Isidore Newman School in Louisiana, Cenac is ranked as high as sixth overall in the class of 2025 by On3. He’s ranked 36th by ESPN and 47th at 247 Sports. He plays for Young Game Changers on the AAU circuit, where he’s averaging 19 points, 11 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game.

The 6-foot-10, 210-pound power forward holds additional scholarship offers from the Kansas Jayhawks, Baylor Bears, Louisville Cardinals, Tennessee Volunteers, Texas Longhorns, Auburn Tigers, and Alabama Crimson Tide, among others.

New Kentucky head coach Mark Pope has reissued scholarship offers to recruits like Darryn Peterson and AJ Bybantsa who were previously offered by John Calipari. However, Cenac is the first new scholarship offer Pope has sent out.
