Breaking: Important Update On Kentucky vs. Duke Champions Classic Kickoff Time and Ticket Info Revealed
The biggest game of the unofficial, official opening of college basketball now knows when its tip time is. The Kentucky Wildcats vs. Duke Blue Devils game will be the second game of the doubleheader, tipping off at 9 p.m. in Atlanta at State Farm Arena.
Kansas vs. Michigan State kicks off the event with the (preferred) tip time of 6:30 p.m.

Kentucky lost their last matchup in the Champions Classic to Duke in November of 2021, which was the season’s first game for both teams. In fact, Kentucky hasn’t won a Champions Classic matchup since Tyrese Maxey’s 26-point frenzy in 2019 against Michigan State.
Kentucky has dropped its past two against Duke, the other being the 118-84 shellacking the Blue Devils laid on PJ Washington and Co. back in 2018. It has also dropped three of four to Duke in the event.
Kentucky is just 5-8 in the event since its origins back in 2011.
