That means there are still two division titles and one playoff berth up for grabs, both of which might be determined on Tuesday.

Who can secure a spot in the playoffs today?
If the Capitals defeat the Flyers, they will win the series. If they fall short in regulation or in overtime/shootout and the Red Wings prevail, they are eliminated on Tuesday. If the Red Wings defeat the Montreal Canadiens and the Capitals fall short, the series will be decided.
If Washington triumphs or Detroit loses in regulation or overtime and the Capitals pick up at least one point, they are eliminated. If they are still in it, the Penguins will have to wait until Wednesday to secure the victory.
If Detroit or Washington prevail, they are out. If Detroit loses in regulation and the Flyers defeat the Capitals in regulation, the Flyers will survive. After that, they must wait for Pittsburgh’s outcome.
If the Bruins defeat the Ottawa Senators or draw a point and the Panthers fall to the Toronto Maple Leafs, they will secure the Atlantic Division championship.
If the Panthers defeat the Maple Leafs and the Bruins fall short against the Senators, they will secure the Atlantic Division championship. If they score one point and the Bruins fall short in regulation, they also win.
If the Canucks defeat the Flames by at least one point, they will secure the Pacific Division championship. If the Canucks fall, the idle Dallas Stars will secure the Western Conference championship.
If the Winnipeg Jets defeat the Seattle Kraken by at least one point, they will secure the second seed in the Central Division. The Nashville Predators are not playing.
